These seeded raisins are grown in California's great Central Valley by a farming family we have known for years. They have depth of flavor. The Central Valley of California, bounded to the west by the coastal mountain range and to the east by the towering Sierra Mountains, was once a great inland sea. Its soil is wondrously fertile. Here's how John Muir describes what it looked like 100 years ago:-

Looking eastward from the summit of Pacheco Pass one shining morning, a landscape was displayed that after all my wanderings still appears as the most beautiful I have ever beheld.
