Dear brothers and sisters,

It seems to us that hardly anything has been said of late as to healing this America. Not a word has been said about the epochal discovery that you have made, namely, that the aliveness of the food you eat has a lot to do with your health and well-being. If this is so, then we have to ask why $700 billion of your hard-earned money was used to line the pockets of the banks and insurance companies who brought you the economic depression- whose first stages we are just now seeing. Why couldn’t that money have been used to provide every American, as their inalienable right, with live food, clean air and pure water? Why should private insurance companies and big pharma dominate health care in America? What sort of “healthcare” is it when we read that the American medical system is the leading cause of death and injury in United States.

Why, we ask,why should a insurance company play any role whatsoever in the well-being of the American people? Here is a system, incredibly expensive, that excludes 47 million people. Why should big pharma have any say in healing this people? After all, it is conservatively estimated that 200,000 Americans die each year from the adverse effects of pharmaceutical drugs. Instead of bailing out insurance companies,banks and auto manufacturers, why not choose life instead and channel the enormous potential that this money represents into healing the people and re-creating this north American earth. This surely, is the deepest ecology.
