This Issue:
Dear brothers and sisters, In this issue, we feature a video by live food aficionado Elizabeth Snyder on creating Nutty Kale Chips. It exemplifies the sparkling, bubbling life we strive to achieve. This is followed by an important article by the people who have just launched a new documentary Vanishing of the Bees. We invite you to view the trailer. We urge you to support their excellent work. We give a link enabling you to make them a donation. Our World Mind section features a number of articles in the heavyweight division. We include these advisedly. They argue that a financial tsunami is just beginning. We believe it is the duty of every American who embraces life to keep informed. "If you don't know, learn. If you do know, teach." The words of the 60s echo down to us and are as relevant today. We feature in the World Mind the blockbuster, Noland on The Accelerating Government Debt Bubble. Doug Noland is a perceptive financial analyst and frequent contributor to the PrudentBear.com. Don't be put off by the terminology. Take a double hit of that cacao smoothie and read his account of how the government's response to the crisis has been to create an enormously dangerous bubble and the risk that it will burst. What they have done is to replace a housing bubble with one created by the government printing press. It too will burst with devastating consequences for all Americans. Another example, we suppose, of "change you can believe in". Then there is the article Meet the Unemployable Man. Americans are justifiably angry. Unemployment is at nearly 10% and there are more than five jobless workers for every job opening. For those with jobs, wages are languishing despite an eye-popping increase in labour productivity or output per hour of work. The price of houses, the biggest single asset for most American families, is languishing. One quarter of Americans owe more than their house is worth. We are getting nearly zero interest on our savings. It is time to carry the message of life out of the kitchen. We are more and more convinced that the categories "left" or "right" have become meaningless. The true criterion is what is going to heal this America and bring "a new birth of freedom" as Lincoln prophesized long ago. You can do it. You can step out of the kitchen and onto the stage of history. The times demand it. You have reached the point where you can do anything. You can heal this nation and the American earth. Vanishing of the Bees
The documentary Vanishing of the Bees, which is narrated by Oscar-nominated actress Ellen Page, follows commercial beekeepers David Hackenberg and Dave Mendes as they strive to keep their bees healthy and fulfill pollination contracts across the U.S. Covering the global scope of this story in America, Europe, Australia and Asia, this documentary examines the alarming disappearance of honeybees and the greater meaning it holds about the relationship between mankind and Mother Earth. Now that the film is complete, the filmmakers need support to bring the message of the bees to the public - playing at theaters and organizing screenings across the country and around the world. Even the smallest donation can help our Bee The Change Campaign - which will: offer an educational version, promote honeybee health, and help turn awareness into action. Join the Hive! Every little bit counts. http://www.vanishingbees.com/B/Donate.html To view the trailer http://www.vanishingbees.com/B/Trailer.html

Honeybees,
responsible for pollinating so much of the food we eat, are
mysteriously disappearing across the planet, literally vanishing
from their hives. Known as Colony Collapse Disorder, this
phenomenon has brought beekeepers to crisis in an industry
responsible for producing most of our fruits and vegetables.
