Operations Manager
This is for a professional throughly familiar and at home with alive, vegan, vegetarian, organic and kosher certified food. Someone who can take charge of the day to day functioning of a small business. This includes scheduling production and supervising sales, accounting, administration and warehousing. Duties also include purchasing and inventory control. This is for someone who possesses the qualities of leadership, charisma and loyalty. Someone with the vaulting optimism that surmounts every obstacle and the ability to cope with the intensity of a modern enterprise. Someone who will set the example for our employees and inspire them to ever greater heights of achievement.

Sales and Administration: Organic and Kosher Food
This is for a man or woman who is spirited, charismatic and entrepreneurial .Someone with the ability to plan and implement a strategic marketing campaign, who, at the same time,is a fine administrator. (In a small business one wears many hats!) Someone skilled in the art of negotiation, who rejoices in taking the initiative. Who can follow through and resolve issues in taxation, insurance, logistics, billing, customer service and so forth.
You will be contacting natural food stores,coops and restaurants. You will need some knowledge of the structure of the market for organic food. This is for a person who is whole of heart, reliable, loyal, tactful and considerate.

Your hours would be 8 am to 2 pm daily.

Regional Sales Rep
We are seeking people in the Vancouver, B.C., New York – New Jersey, Chicago, Miami and in other major metropolitan areas to approach natural foodstores, co-ops and live food restaurants on our behalf. Preferably, should have experience in the food industry. Should be well organized, charismatic and enthusiastic.

Office Administrator
This is for someone who rejoices in providing outstanding administration and customer service. Who can assist with sales and marketing. Someone with experience in office administration and is familiar with basic bookkeeping.
Someone with experience in resolving issues in finance,banking,taxation,insurance,accounts receivable and accounts payable and so forth. Someone who can prepare scholarly research reports on topics in ecology and nutrition. Who can handle publicity and organize events. Someone who is at home with Mac and PC platforms. Familiarity with html and ability to troubleshoot office equipment would be helpful. This is for a wholehearted team player who is honest, loyal, kind and considerate. Someone with a fine work ethic,who wants to build a career in the organic food industry.

Assistant Bookkeeper
This is for a bookkeeper with solid small business experience. Preferably, someone who is familiar with MYOB our accounting program or can learn it quickly. We offer a part time position. Hours are flexible.

Assistant Warehouse Manager
This is for someone devoted to excellence in living food. You’ll be making almond butter and other nut butters at our plant in Berkeley. Someone physically fit, devoted to safety on the job and obsessed with sanitation and cleanliness. A friend of hot, soapy water. Someone who delights in food processing machinery and can make minor repairs and adjustments. Should be computer literate and familiar with shipping software. Should excel at keeping production records and statistics.
